Step into stripes a-plenty with this freshjive sea lions shirt. Were not entirely clear on the connection between the shirt and the name, but as far as we can tell it has something to do with the shades-of-blue color scheme. Oh, and while were on that subject, did we mention that its sweet? Alternating thick and thin groups of blue band patterns trade places with cream striping. Even though the pattern is laid out in horizontally, it gives the shirt a lot of vertical motion, and a pulsing sort of look. When the shirt starts making you see things, you know its awesome. Whenever we hit the swings, we like to think we take a pretty gnarly approach. Sadly though, we cant really claim to be quite as intense as the girl on the front of this tee by freshjive. Blissfully unaware, she swings straight towards a cloud of fire and debris, tagged by the truism that "one nuclear explosion can ruin your entire day". Behind the large filter-muted photo, the body is a finely woven, light and creamy shade of yellow that was made right next door in los angeles. If we had to put a name to it, wed call the body of this tee a smooth shade of butter-yellow. The graphic on the chest goes down just like butter too. The soft cotton body is woven super fine, for quality that you can feel as well as you can see. The five stacked bottle caps on the front are a bronzed shade of super saturated gold, and remind us of spending many a quality day camped out on the beach with a few brews. While we cant recommend going on a pure butter binge, we think youd be perfectly alright to wear this shirt as often as you like. Solid smooth yellow body. Unmarked, blank back. Slim ribbed collar. This soft-speaking shirt from freshjive has a subtlly textured charcoal body, with matched stitching and multi-brown accent buttons. Also understated, is who even made this shirt.
